WHAT IS BLACKTRAX

 

BlackTrax Tracking is a real-time tracking system that allows for the tracking of objects or people in a three-dimensional space and then sends that information to lighting, video, sound, and other stage systems. It uses sensors and active tags that are placed on the objects or people to be tracked. These tags emit signals that are picked up by special cameras, which determine the exact position of the moving elements.

The system is widely used in live events, theaters, concerts, and audiovisual productions, allowing for precise synchronization of lighting effects, projections, and other stage elements, adapting in real-time to movements in the space. BlackTrax integrates well with lighting software like WYSIWYG and Depence, enabling the design and execution of highly precise interactive shows.

WE TRACK 3D & 6D POSITIONAL DATA

BlackTrax can capture and pass positional 3D (X,Y,Z) and 6D rotation (yaw, pitch, roll) data to automation controllers

RIGID FRAMES

Designed to be objects whose shape does not change. A centroid can be created where the averaged position of all LEDs becomes the tracking point. If necessary, the centroid can also be off-set from its absolute center point. BlackTrax will not only track the object’s position but also its rotation, providing a true real-time 6D tracking.

LIGHTIN TRACKING
